                         Chief of Police Charlie Beck has been a police officer for over 28 years with a mostly varied law                                                  enforcement background under his belt, including detective, special operations and administrative roles                                within the Los Santos Police Department.

 

Chief  Charlie Beck was appointed Chief of the Los Santos Police Department in November 2009 After Chief Marzel Brown. Chief Beck oversees the third largest police department in the United States, managing 10,000 sworn officers and 3,000 civilian employees, encompassing an area of 473 square miles, a population of approximately 3.8 million people, and an annual budget that exceeds one billion dollars. Having facilitated his predecessor's successful reengineering and reform effort, Chief Beck continues to evolve and refine those strategies to further the Department's ascendancy to the pinnacle of 21st Century Policing.  Major components of this endeavor include the mitigation of crime, the reduction of gang violence, the containment of terrorism, and the continuation of the reforms that brought the Department into compliance with the Consent Decree. 

 

Chief Charlie Beck was born in liberty city, and formerly live inpalomino creek, Los Santos but he was invited by Exodus_Wallace his corporal in DET Div. to live in his island. We is the only child in his family, his father's name is Nick Charles Beck, and His mother's name is Lita Beck, His parents was killed by Murder in there house, cause his father was a chief of police in 1993 and has so many rebels that want to kill his father, after the burial of his parent Chief Beck decided to go in san andreas, los santos to find what he really wanted to be and to find the murder that killed his family, to be LSPD or Police Officer was his dream. He stayed for a long time and renting many house to stay in. he have worked as a pizza boy in "Well Stacked Pizza Co.", he is alone for many years, no wife, no child and no friends. but he have met Dr. Ian Lavadia in All Saints hospital he help Chief Beck to work and Dr. Lavadia offered him to stay in his house while finding a new permanent job,but his dream was, to be a LSPD Member. its a simple dream that becomes a big dream,but that day he have reffered by Dr.ian lavadia to the chief of LSPD ,Chief Brown Marzel. and chief marzel has accept chief beck to be in lspd for traning, all LSPD members welcomes him in the department, they train and test what chief beck gots.. but its not a simple test and train, cause he didn't know that they will have a hazing for the new members of LSPD, Chief Beck's Experience to be a cadet/trainee is not simple, what other citizens think, but after his recovery he trained and trained, to get his dream to be a LSPD Chief of Police, he has promoted to be a Officer I  and year after and after he has promoted to be officer II, Officer III, to Seargent, to be in SWAT division, to Lieutenant and to be a captain and officer-in-charge of SWAT, but as the day pass, chief marzel brown was striked by the dept. head and replaced another chief. But this chief was ok at first, as the day goes by, we have seen many wrongs and many people in Los Santos have complaints with him and with the members of LSPD that he invited. so Chief Charlie Beck have decided to pass an application letter to the dept. head's to be the new chief of LSPD and he have wait a long time to know the result of his Application letter , as year goes he have received a letter from LSPD Department Head and they have a approved the application letter of chief beck and appointed as the new chief of police, the chief was striked in his position, so chief beck have decided his first move to striked those corrupt cops that invited by the former chief, and recruit a new lspd officers, he has a great plan to ran his position, and now he have received a certificate of Chief of the state. A great job, a great performance

 

Charlie's education includes his graduation from University with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration as well as Human Biology, and a masters in Law.
